Far Away in the Sunshine

"Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead."
- Louisa May Alcott

Psychedelic Sunday

"He bag production he got walrus gumboot
He got ono sideboard he one spinal cracker
He got feet down below his knee
Hold you in his armchair you can feel his disease
Come together right now over me.
He roller-coaster he got early warning
He got muddy water he one mojo filter
He say 'one and one and one is three'
Got to be good-looking 'cause he's so hard to see
Come together right now over me."
- Come Together, The Beatles

Sampling Warhol

Fantasy love is much better than reality love. Never doing it is very exciting. The most exciting attractions are between two opposites that never meet. - Andy Warhol

Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast

I woke up this morning with a mind full of impossibility and it is not uncommon for me to think of six (mostly more) impossible things before breakfast. Am I mad? Possibly. Do I need psychological help? Probably. Is it fun? Definitely...

Strange, but Friendly Friends

This puppet has been in my room since I can remember and he always gets himself into the most imaginative places. May your friends be just as strange, but just as friendly and special!

Designer Ivy

I came across these crazy ivy plants that decorated an entire street as if they were fashion designer and the trees and walls their models. When they pull away from the walls, they create art works.

The trees are God's great alphabet:
With them He writes in shining green
Across the world His thoughts serene.

Meet My Brother

I have this crazy little brother... well, actually I have three crazy little brothers, but I will start by telling you about the youngest one, because he is probably the most insane. This eight year old plays with cars and runs around in gardens, but he is at his happiest when he has a gun in his hand or when he is pretending to be the bad guy in whichever movie he just saw. To a casual observer, he might seem like a little boy who needs some spiritual guidance, but what is interesting about this scenario is that this is how his imagination shelters him: if you are the attacker, what have you got to be afraid of?

Luckily, his story always changes: as soon as the hero starts winning, he transforms himself into the new master. Even though he says words even I steer clear of and quotes only the most vulgar dialogue he hears, he still has a humorous innocence and will ultimately always ensure he ends up being the hero in his fictional games.
