Alessandra Ferri and Sting - Enchanting Short

Look at this amazing short film starring principal ballet dancer Alessandra Ferri alongside Sting, who plays Bach's 'Prelude' from 'Cello Suite nr.1 in G major' on acoustic guitar. Set in an abandoned city building, complete with water damage and dark, misty atmosphere, this film is something different and plainly beautiful.

Dancing to Degas

The Impressionist style may have been labeled old fashioned and unoriginal in the beginning of the 20th century, but that does not mean it got any less beautiful. Edgar Degas, the French master, created fairytale pieces with off-centre compositions and captured moments of movement and grace. Enjoy his incredible ballet paintings...

I wonder what Da Vinci would think of this new version of one of his masterpieces. This Mona Lisa was built in Sydney, Australia with 3604 cups of coffee each filled with different amounts of milk to create different shades. So... how do you like your coffee?

Paolo Roversi and the Meaning of Magic

Paolo Roversi was born in Ravenna in 1947 and started out in a cellar for a darkroom. Some of his first jobs included photographing a funeral and celebrities, but he moved to Paris in 1973 and after working as a journalist for the Huppert Agency, he turned to fashion photography. He has worked for a large variety of fahion magazined, including Elle, Depeche Mode and Marie Claire (who gave him his first big break.)

I love how he makes his subjects seem mysterious, intriguing, maybe even out of this world.
